I have not had the opportunity to design a logo for pay yet, so below are some samples of logos and graphical designs that I created as homework assignments for my web design classes. All of the following images were made in Fireworks except for the snowboarding logo, which was made in Flash.

The cost to design a logo is $100 and up if from scratch, or $50 if I am reconstructing an existing design. You can choose Fireworks or Flash for logo construction. After we discuss what you are looking for, and in what program, I will provide you with a quote.
Below are two cool examples of the type of graphic work that can be done in Fireworks. This first image was designed as a graphical poster that could be used by a company as an advertisement for the uses of tomatoes. The tomatoes in the center have feathering apply to the edges. The text labels are actually an image that was created from a mask of another image of a vat of tomatoes, and there are some effects applied to the text to give a 3D and a shadowed look.
This Fireworks image was designed as a sample full web page for a college department. Hotspots can be drawn over the text labels (Course Descriptions, Course Schedule, etc.) that are then linked to specific sub-pages. There are effects applied to the images and the text to give them a 3D appearance.
