I'm a former elementary and secondary schoolteacher that has been working from my home for the last twelve years while raising my five children, who range in age from 16 to 2 years old.
About eight years ago I became inspired to build a website in my field, and began the adventure of teaching myself Dreamweaver and Fireworks.
Self-teaching has its limits, so I decided to pursue a formal education in Web Design. I am currently finishing an Associate of Applied Science in Web Design & Development at Baker College Online. I have completed all of the courses involved with web design and scripting in Perl and JavaScript. The scripting classes that I have left are PHP, Visual Basic, and Advanced ActionScript.
